Diane : A Heart for People

“I have a heart for people, and I love this program, but most importantly, it’s the vision of my Pastor Victor Torres,” says Diane.

This faithful volunteer has worked in our food pantry, and as a mentor for the Mercy House. “There was a young lady who would come talk with me and share her goals and dreams; eventually, I was asked to be her mentor.”

Diane finds fulfillment in knowing that the women she serves feels that they can share things with her. “I still keep in touch with my mentee. There is no greater satisfaction than helping someone find a better life.” Volunteers like Diane offer their time, resources, and experience to our men’s and women’s programs.
